Sure, we are all busy. There are so many things for us to get done. But, we control what we determine should be done first. We get to prioritize our lives. After all, God gave us free will. So, the busy-ness of our lives is actually what we have done to ourselves.
Don’t worry, though. The best way to solve this is to prioritize your life. What is most important to you? The answer might be easy, but then there is this quote from Jesus, “For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.”. [Matthew 6:21] This is equally true for time as well as treasure.
We all have different situations, but we should take this time during Lent to make sure we spend our time (treasure and talents, too) in a way that lines up with our priorities. If we do not spend our time in a way that lines up with our priorities, then perhaps our priorities are not what we think or want them to be.
