God, the eternal, infinite, all-powerful, and all seeing being that holds everything into existence, is all-in on each one of us. Though we fail, He does not pull back our existence. He does not take away His love for us. No! “God proves his love for us in that while we were still sinners Christ died for us.” – [Romans 5:8]
If there ever was a time for Him to pull away from us, it would be after we sin. But that is not what God did. God decided that we did not know how much He loves us and wanted to show us. So, God became one of His creation. “though [Jesus] was in the form of God, [He] did not regard equality with God something to be grasped. Rather, he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave” – [Phillipians 2:6-7]
Becoming human for God can be compared to humans becoming an ant. But He not only lowered Himself to our level, but He then went on to die for us lowly ants. But to go further, He wanted to be with us always. Not only that, but also He wanted to be united to us body and soul. To do this, He gave us the Eucharist, His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity.
There is no bounds to what one will do for love. Jesus is proof of that. God is all-in on us. Are we all-in on God?
